REMINDERS, ON THEIR OWN

A forgotten appointment is an empty slot. Codino sends your clients a WhatsApp reminder about a day before the visit, between 9 AM and 8 PM in your salon’s time zone. When you confirm a request from your booking website, the client also gets a booking confirmation, sent between 8 AM and 9 PM.

One appointment can use two messages, a confirmation and a reminder, so 100 messages are not 100 appointments. When the 100 are used up, reminders stop until next month unless you add 100 more for $10. Booking confirmations are still sent, and never use those extra packs.
Until SMS is switched on, reminders go by WhatsApp only, so clients who don’t use WhatsApp don’t get one.

Who makes Codino?
Codino is made by S3 S.r.l. Società Benefit, the Italian company behind Pelomatto, a pet grooming business in Italy. Codino is new in the US: you won’t find reviews from US salons here yet, and we don’t borrow numbers from anyone else.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union. The database and file storage run on Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany, encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS. The app is served by Vercel. As an EU company we handle your data under the GDPR: see the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
How does the free trial work?
You add a card when you sign up, and nothing is charged for 14 days. On day 15 your card is charged $49, then $49 every month. Cancel online in Codino, under Manage billing, before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
What does the AI actually do?
Two things today. It turns notes you dictate into clean notes that you review before saving. And it runs the assistant on your booking website, which answers questions about your services, prices and open times and sends you booking requests to confirm. It always tells clients it is an AI. It is built to answer only from your own price list and calendar, but it can make mistakes, so you confirm every request before it becomes an appointment. AI phone answering is not available yet.
How do reminders work?
Codino sends a WhatsApp reminder about a day before the appointment, between 9 AM and 8 PM in your salon’s time zone, only to clients who agreed to receive reminders. When you confirm a booking request from your website or its chat, those clients also get one booking confirmation, between 8 AM and 9 PM. Text messages (SMS) come once US carrier registration (10DLC) is approved; until then reminders and confirmations go by WhatsApp only. The plan includes 100 reminders per location each month, and booking confirmations count toward them. That means one appointment can use two messages, a confirmation and a reminder, so 100 is not 100 appointments. When the 100 are used up, reminders stop until next month unless you add 100 more for $10. A confirmation never uses those extra packs, and it is still sent once the monthly 100 are used up, so a client who just booked always gets an answer.
Can I have more than one location?
Yes. The plan includes one location. Each extra location is $19/mo, with its own calendar and price list, in the same account.
Can I keep my card reader and my POS?
Yes. You take payments with your own tools and record them in Codino. Codino does not process payments from your clients.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Codino opens in the browser on a tablet, a phone or a computer with an internet connection.
Are there taxes or extra fees?
Prices are in US dollars and do not include taxes: sales tax may apply depending on your state. There is no setup fee and no commission on your bookings.
Can I bring my client list from my current software?
Not automatically yet. Email info@pelomatto.it with what your current software can export, and we will tell you honestly what we can bring over.
Is support in English?
Yes, by email at info@pelomatto.it. Our team is in Italy, so replies follow Central European Time.
Which terms apply?
The Terms of Service, governed by Italian law. They explain the trial, the renewal and how to cancel; you accept them when you sign up.
